Robert has over 35 years’ experience in millwrighting, steel fabricating, design, and welding. He holds his AZ License, Crane Certification and is a Welding Supervisor. Robert provides a wealth of expertise in all facets of the structural steel industry.

 

His innovative ideas and implementations place SCI at the leading edge of the structural steel fabrication and erection industry. Robert is always one step ahead within our industry. He provides our team with the most advanced technological equipment and procedures that elevate our overall team efficiency and our excellent health and safety practices.

 

Robert’s willingness to share his expertise with every team member is reflected in a team of true professionals.

Chris joined SCI in May 2023. He is a highly driven and resourceful professional that is backed by more than 13 years experience in Project and Facilities management.

During Chris’ distinguished career, he has consistently delivered upon large scale construction projects with budgetary responsibilities of 1M-5M+.

Chris excels in people and process management and building team strength. While managing a team of trade professionals, Chris is known for creating and implementing numerous strategic plans, SOP’s, PM’s, predictive maintenance programs, health and safety programs while improving upon the daily process efficiencies as they present themselves.

Chris takes great pride in effective communication and maintaining a high level of quality standards. In addition, Chris is a Fire Protection Designer and a Revit/3D CAD Technician.

He has also completed many professional training programs where he brings the new technological and strategic advancements to the workplace, lending to company cost savings and improving upon process efficiencies. Chris is highly organized with a combination of technical expertise and diplomatic influencing skills.

Nicole has been in the Manager role at SCI for 11 years. Nicole manages Accounts Receivable, Customer Relations, Shipping and Receiving as well as many other critical office tasks.

 

Nicole has a background in Human Resources and Office Management. She has a wealth of knowledge in the structural steel fabrication industry and provides invaluable oversight for the South-Central team.

Julie has been with SCIl since 2018 in the role of Controller. She has 10 years’ management and quality assurance experience within the manufacturing industry while working with General Motors and now with South Central Industrial. Julie also assists in organizing and coordinating all projects, from start to finish.

 

Julie is a highly motivated, detailed, and organized professional. Julie is well-versed in people and quality management from her experience over the years.

 

She managed a large team of employees and worked directly with Quality Engineers at General Motors and other Automotive manufacturing companies to ensure all components of transmissions and engines were built to blueprint drawing specifications while adhering to strict quality standards. Julie provides tremendous day-to-day support for the South-Central team.

Wayne has worked at SCI for 8 years, with 48 years’ experience in the industry. Wayne has been a major part of South-Central Industrial’s growth over the years.
 

The team benefits from Wayne’s great personality and invaluable expertise handling Project Management, detailing, estimating and job co-ordination.

Gordon has been with SCI for 2 years. Estimation and project management, site coordination are the key roles that Gordon serves at South Central. He has a wealth of knowledge in the structural steel industry where he is backed by over 36 years of experience. Gordon has a keen eye for detail and strives for excellence with every project that comes across his desk.

Gordon also comes with an extensive background in general construction and is a graduate of construction engineering technology, which provides added value to the company.
He is a true professional, an excellent communicator and has a high level of standards when meeting every customer’s needs.

Nick came to SCI from Niagara Structural Steel where he worked as a Fitter/Welder, Machine Operator and Machine Programmer before working his way into a Shop Foreman position he held for 8 years.

 

Nick has over 20 years’ experience in the industry. He has been at South Central Industrial for 2 years.
 

Nick pays great attention to detail and has a fantastic leadership style that lends itself well to his daily interaction with his shop fabrication team.

Jason brings over 5 years of CAD experience to SCI in the construction industry.

 

He is currently implementing Tekla software and company standards into our drawings for detailing.

 

In addition, he programs our Python X, a structural steel robotic fabrication machine. Jason’s focus is on drafting precision and ensuring production efficiency, resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction.
